We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specific retention periods are as follows.

6.1 Account Data

Your account profile, registration information, and settings are retained for as long as your account remains active.

If your account becomes inactive (no login for 24 consecutive months), we may notify you and, if you do not respond, terminate the account and begin the deletion process described in Section 7.

6.2 User-Generated Content

Content you post on the platform (posts, comments, messages, photos, videos) is retained for as long as your account is active and the content remains on the platform. You can delete individual items at any time from within the app. Once deleted, the content is removed from public view immediately, and all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

6.3 Communications With Us

Emails and support correspondence are retained for up to 24 months after the matter is resolved, so we can reference them if you submit a follow-up. After that period, they are securely deleted on a scheduled basis.

6.4 Technical and Usage Data

IP addresses and security logs: retained for up to 12 months for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting purposes, then deleted or fully anonymized.

Analytics data: retained in identifiable form for up to 14 months, then aggregated/anonymized.

6.5 Data Required by Law

Some information may be retained for longer periods where required by law (e.g., for tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance), where necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or where a law enforcement preservation request is in effect. In such cases, we retain only the data strictly required and protect it with appropriate safeguards.

7. DATA DELETION — HOW TO REMOVE YOUR DATA

7.1 Deleting Specific Content

While your account is active, you can delete individual posts, comments, messages, photos, and videos directly from the platform. Once deleted:

The content is immediately removed from public view.

All associated data is deleted within 30 days.

7.2 Deleting Your Entire Account

You may request deletion of your Kenmesh.com account at any time:

In-app: Settings → Account → Delete Account.

By email: Send a deletion request to info@kenmesh.com from the email address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before proceeding.

7.3 What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Your profile is immediately deactivated and no longer visible to other users.

We delete all associated data within 30 days. This includes your profile, registration data, user-generated content, messages, and metadata.

Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you may be retained for analytics and research.

Data we are legally required to retain (e.g., for tax or law enforcement preservation) will be kept only for as long as legally required and will be deleted once that obligation ends.

7.4 Content Shared by Others

If other users have quoted, shared, or interacted with your content, copies of those interactions may remain on their side of the platform (e.g., in their message histories) even after you delete your account. We will, where technically feasible, remove or anonymize your identifying information from those interactions.

7.5 Confirmation

Once deletion is complete, you may request a written confirmation by emailing info@kenmesh.com.
